Covid and the Holidays: how to make the best of it all

Can you believe Thanksgiving is less than 2 weeks away?? Seems like it was just November 1st! Well, that just tells me how fast time is flying by, and most of us don’t have the time to focus on anything outside of enjoying everyday like it’s our last! The holidays can be rough for some of us already, not to mention having to deal with this pandemic, how do we get through it all??

With the pandemic still going on, and alot of people are still not taking it seriously, numbers are continuing to rise and people are still getting sick and losing loved ones. We have to make the best of every moment and not just during the holidays. I want to share this with anyone going through a hard time due to this pandemic and dealing with the holiday season:

Stay encouraged. Take a few minutes out of your day to meditate, surround yourself with positive energy, if you have someone you can talk to that can just be an ear it could make a world of difference!

Also, motivational videos, podcasts, reading positive affirmations, spiritual motivation, at home exercising, even trying DIY projects. It’s so important to try and stay positive and encouraged during these trying times, all while trying to stay in good health; but it can definitely be difficult to deal with on your own.

Let the little things go, Live more, love harder, laugh longer and dance like no one is watching!

New Month, New moves, New Goals!

This has been a crazy year for us all in one way or another, to say the least. However, we are still here working hard everyday to stay healthy and keeping our families healthy from all of this craziness.

As we continue to work hard to stay healthy, we have to continue to stay focused on our goals as well! It’s a new month, time to make new moves and prepare new goals as we still have 60 days left in 2020! Look at how far you’ve come and how much more you can accomplish in the next 60 days. Are you ready?? If not, get ready! It’s a new day.

Find a way around the obstacles, stop making excuses and decide what’s next for you. Yesterday is gone. It’s time to evolve and execute! Let’s go!!

Things you can do to stay focused and knock your goals out:

  • Be Intentional
  • Wake up an hour earlier
  • Focus on the positive
  • Make sure your goals are realistic
  • Encourage someone
